A problem with a possible lack of drainage was highlighted when staining appeared on a concrete and brick skin retaining wall.
Our brief was to cut out a section of brickwork, diamond drill a 107mm diameter hole through the RC retaining wall behind, remove the core and then leave for inspection.
A 50mm diameter drainage pipe was then sealed into the holes and connected into an adjacent down pipe. The brickwork panel was then reinstated, together with some other random bricks.
