Wire Sawing

Wire Sawing utilises a diamond-impregnated wire, fed through a series of pulleys to produce a cutting facility that can cope with any depth or shape of concrete structure.

This innovative technique originated in quarries to saw stone and has since been adapted for the construction industry.

Wire sawing machinery

Since virtually no structure or cross-section is too large to cut, Wire Saws are used where other cutting methods are impractical.

Wire Sawing is ideal for removing large sections of heavily reinforced mass, concrete or brickwork structures and solid steel beams on constructions such as piers, towers and bridge sections or in areas where work space is restricted.

One of the great advantages of Wire Sawing is the flexibility of the system; there are no restrictions in depth or size and pulleys can be arranged to form circular or rectangular openings into any size space.  Fast, dust free and surprisingly quiet the Wire Sawing system has been used by our expert team on a diverse range of projects throughout London, Kent, Surrey and the South East.
